Most of the Halley vehicle fleet is now back in action after its long winter slumber. It means we can do lots more outdoor stuff and we get to ride around and have fun, like me here attaching cables to the building from the basket of a crane.

Randomly bumped into your blog and was reminded of how I nearly started doing atmospheric physics at the BAS after my undergrad, but decided against it in favour of a more mainstream private sector career -- every once in a while I wonder what I missed.

Hi Tamsin. Øystein (doc at) at Troll station here. Met you briefly when you dropped off Suna at Troll. Had the privelige of joining them for some local rock sampling here. Have you heard from him and Horst on the HF? Are they doing fine in the field?
