Tamsin has just set off on a new adventure. She is southward bound once again, this time headed to the fastest warming region of Antarctica, the peninsula. Glaciers there are melting, possibly revealing undiscovered resevoirs of frozen cheese. Tamsin can't wait to find out!

Wonderful pictures..Wow, what a wonderful adventure.
Congrats on blog of note.
Great photos! I spent two tours with Operation Deepfreeze in 1963-64. I was at Pole Station, Byrd Station, Vostok, and of course McMurdo. One of the greatest experiences of my life. As a Navy Seabee, we built most of Pole Station. I'm saddened by the constant news of the effects of global warming. Thanks for the photos which reminded me of the awesome beauty of that place.

Fantastic! your pictures is wonderfull. (lindas) congratulations.
Those are fantastic photo's - I especially loved the sun on the horizon and the rear-end dangling in the air
And one more thing - just saw "An Inconvenient Truth" and was vaguely aware of a problem that "they" were going to fix up until then. Now I'm trying to not be convinced that we're all going to die a horrible death (and soon) because of global warming. KEEP UP the good work!!! Hopefully there are eons and eons of delectable frozen cheese before us!
We have arrived! Join us today!

Wow! Amazing find on this blog.
I always wondered, quite the layman, that although you are researching on a part of the Antarctic that is supposedly 'heating up' can't we rest assured that in another region there is a section that is suitably 'cooling down'? Simple logic and therefore possibly idiotic, but I thought I'd share it.
Ice melts! - It never seemed much of a relevation to me.
WOW! those are cool pictures! i just stoped by randomly and i want to read more now
Shoot that looks great. Want to get in touch?

I always wanted to go to Antarctica, and your pictures rekindled that dream! Beautiful! Thank you for posting them!
Seems like an amazing adventure, living/ working there.
i thought Antarctica was a cold and menacing place that had losts of blizzards-well at least thats what iv'e been taught in geography class at school. i never knew Antarctica could be so beautiful.
Great photos. Always wanted to visit there, but that cave photo gave me pause!! What a great and interesting job that you can share with your family and friends!

So by now you know what happened to your comments section. And I just wanted to tell you that of all the Blogs of Note recently? Yours is definitely the coolest.
:)
wow, i'm speechless. this is quite some place.
Our life experience sums up who we are. Yours is a story to tell. A life most people (all youngins at least)dream of. Those photos :o) !! how can anyone say there is no God? You have seen Him in His majesty. I am greatful that you are willing to be the scientist that you are. I was very curious to find out what the chinese symbols meant. It is adverizing for porn based sites. I hope that you will remove it because it is a blemish to your MARVELOUS BLOG !!
yea totally agree with "WoW"
beautiful, just beautiful.. check out my blog!
I don't think seals have any idea how cute they are. I think the world would be in big trouble if they realized this and chose to use their power...
