Great photos! I spent two tours with Operation Deepfreeze in 1963-64. I was at Pole Station, Byrd Station, Vostok, and of course McMurdo. One of the greatest experiences of my life. As a Navy Seabee, we built most of Pole Station. I'm saddened by the constant news of the effects of global warming. Thanks for the photos which reminded me of the awesome beauty of that place.

Those are fantastic photo's - I especially loved the sun on the horizon and the rear-end dangling in the air

And one more thing - just saw "An Inconvenient Truth" and was vaguely aware of a problem that "they" were going to fix up until then. Now I'm trying to not be convinced that we're all going to die a horrible death (and soon) because of global warming. KEEP UP the good work!!! Hopefully there are eons and eons of delectable frozen cheese before us!

Wow! Amazing find on this blog.

I always wondered, quite the layman, that although you are researching on a part of the Antarctic that is supposedly 'heating up' can't we rest assured that in another region there is a section that is suitably 'cooling down'? Simple logic and therefore possibly idiotic, but I thought I'd share it.

Ice melts! - It never seemed much of a relevation to me.

It is adverizing for porn based sites. I hope that you will remove it because it is a blemish to your MARVELOUS BLOG !!
